The news of the launch was confirmed by Mark Zuckerberg on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast. The new Meta VR Headset is all set to launch in October. In an interview with Joe Rogan, Mark said, “For the next device that’s coming out in October, there’s a few big features.” He further added, “When you’re on a video call, you don’t actually feel like you’re there with the person. To me, what virtual reality unlocks is that it really convinces your brain that you’re there.” The news of the VR headset was hinted by Zuckerberg at last year’s Connect event. The VR headset was likely to be called as Project Cambria, however, there is a news that the headset will be called as Meta Quest Pro.
