- Unlock your iPhone using TouchID or Face ID.
- Long press on the lock screen.
- Now, tap on Customize. You can locate this at the bottom of your screen. You can also swipe left till the end and then Add New.
- Tap on Emoji option at the top of your screen. Or you can scroll through the featured section and find the Emoji collection.
- Tap on the Smiley face. You can find this on the lower left corner of your screen.
- Choose the emojis you want to add.
- Once you have selected your emojis, tap anywhere on the outer side of the emojis board.
- Swipe left and right to preview the layout.
- You can preview your emoji wallpaper and change the layout. You can choose from large grid, medium grid, small grid, rings, and spirals options for your emojis layout.
- Now, to select the background color, tap on the three dots. You can find these in the lower right corner of your screen.
- Tap on the Backgroud option. You can find this at the bottom of your screen.

- Once you have finalized your color, tap anywhere outside the color selection pop-up.
