Due to the ongoing pandemic, the development process of loads of games has been slowed down. It is hard to lose track of upcoming games. Fortunately, I have compiled this massive list of exciting PlayStation 5 titles launching in 2023, and beyond that, you can play. The list has a diverse range of new games along with some console exclusives. The list also includes several titles released on the previous generation of consoles releasing for PlayStation 5. From sequels, survival games, platformers, and indie games, I am sure you will find many exciting titles to buy for your new console. Some games have a release date, but they might get delayed due to the pandemic (I hope they don’t). Most of the game’s release date is not confirmed. With that said, let us get to our list of upcoming games for PlayStation 5.

Best Upcoming PS5 Games: All The New PS5 Games For 2023 And Beyond

The console is available for a few months now, but its availability is hard to come by. PlayStation 5 has already depicted its capabilities with few launch titles like Demon Souls remake, Control, Ghost of Tsushima. However, the upcoming games for the ninth gen console are worth getting. Being able to play the AAA games with over 60 FPS was always a dream of console owners, and these new-gen consoles can achieve that without breaking a sweat. There is no reason not to get excited about the upcoming PlayStation 5 games. Just simply by looking at the list of PlayStation 5’s upcoming games gets me nothing but excited. Unfortunately, some games are slated for this year’s release, while some games will be released next year. If you somehow managed to grab a PS5, you are in for a treat! Without any ado, let us get to the titles.

#1 Elden Ring

Elden Ring is one of the most anticipated video game on the list, if not the most. One of the few reasons that I put this game on the top of the list is because it is the next title by From Software, who is hailed as one of the acclaimed developers. Elden Ring was revealed as the next From Software game in the E3 2019 announcement trailer, and for straight two years, no information was revealed related to the game until the Summer Game Fest hosted by Geoff Keighley. The player takes control of a customizable character referred to as “Tarnished“. Judging from the trailer, the player can fully customize their characters and can ride mounts (which is a first in From Soft games). The game features tons of enemies and will be lore enriched as the story is co-written by Hidetaka Miyazaki and George R.R. Martin. Elden Ring will release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and Windows on January 21, 2022.

Despite having little to no information, it is one of the most anticipated upcoming games for PlayStation 5 and other platforms. Some people speculate, from the teaser trailer, that the game location is set in High Rock, a location inhabited by the Bretons. Some people say the location for TES 6 will be Tamriel.
